LinkedIn is rolling out new AI-powered features to help users find jobs, edit their resumes and even get advice from AI chatbots, but only for Premium users.
One of the tools allows you to search for jobs on LinkedIn by typing a prompt in natural language. “Find a remote marketing job in Detroit that pays at least $110,000,” says LinkedIn product manager Tomer Cohen.
LinkedIn can also review your resume and provide personalized recommendations for improving your resume for a specific job posting. LinkedIn’s Rohan Rajiv says you can upload a resume, get feedback and make edits interactively with AI. The platform also has a tool to help you create a cover letter from scratch with the help of AI.
LinkedIn isn’t just using AI to help you find a job. It is also starting to pilot AI personas of experts you can chat with to learn more about work-related topics. The company is also promising to improve the platform’s search more broadly with generative AI.
