ChatGPT Edu also includes access to GPT-4o, the latest large language model OpenAI announced earlier this month. OpenAI claims this model is much better than previous versions at text interpretation, coding, and analyzing mathematical data sets, as well as accessing the web.
ChatGPT Edu will also have much higher message limits than the free version of ChatGPT and will allow universities to create custom versions of ChatGPT trained with their own data and share them within university workspaces. It is worth noting that OpenAI claims conversations and data in ChatGPT Edu will not be used to train OpenAI’s models.
OpenAI states that after seeing universities such as Wharton, Arizona State University, and Columbia use ChatGPT Enterprise, they built ChatGPT Edu.
