Enabling women to proactively manage their health, Hertility offers at-home test kits and health analytics.
Hertility, which helps women learn more about reproductive health, has increased the total amount of investment it has received since its establishment to more than 14 million dollars with the investment received from world-renowned actress Emma Watson.
Since 2014, Emma Watson has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations Women (UN Women), and has been particularly active in gender equality and women’s rights. Watson, who is also known for her investments in social benefit-oriented initiatives, added Hertility to her portfolio.
Founded by Dr. Helen O’Neill, Deirdre O’Neill, and Dr. Natalie Getreu, Hertility offers innovative tests and healthcare services that enable women to learn about health issues earlier. Providing hormone tests and personalized health analysis, the startup provides information on fertility and hormonal imbalance, including ovulation disorders and polycystic ovary syndrome.
Hertility, which found that more than 600,000 women in the UK are waiting for a gynecology appointment as a result of research, offers an easier and more accessible healthcare service with home test kits. The initiative shares test results with users on its digital platform and helps them get the treatments they need faster with the comments of expert doctors.
“The goal is to get as many women as possible talking about their hormones and fertility and meet them to change their behavior globally,” said Dr. Helen O’Neill, co-founder of Hertility, which allows women to proactively manage their health.
