Salesforce, which helps businesses manage customer relationships more effectively with its cloud-based solutions, announced that it is preparing to hire 2,000 new sales representatives to bring its artificial intelligence products to more customers.
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff spoke about the company’s future plans at an event in San Francisco on Tuesday. Benioff, who shared plans to hire 1,000 new sales representatives specializing in artificial intelligence last month, updated this number to 2,000 people in his statement.
The US-based company, which wants to increase its revenues with productive artificial intelligence services; aims to grow its sales, marketing and customer service departments by hiring 2,000 new employees. CEO Mark Benioff stated that there are more than 9,000 recommended candidates with more than 9,000 references for the aforementioned positions.
Salesforce, which currently employs 72,682 people, announced at the same event that it will launch the second generation of its artificial intelligence solution called Agentforce in February next year.
In addition to all these, Benioff stated that the Salesforce homepage now includes an experimental artificial intelligence tool that responds to user queries about the company’s products. The chat-based assistant, which handles about 32,000 calls a week, offers convenience to Salesforce customers who need help.
