Switzerland-based robotics startup ANYbotics is developing AI-powered autonomous robots for use in the metal industry.
Robotics startup ANYbotics has raised $60 million led by Qualcomm Ventures and Supernova Invest. TDK Ventures, Walden Catalyst Ventures, NPG Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Swisscom Ventures and Swisscanto also participated in the round, bringing the total investment amount of the startup to 130 million dollars.
Switzerland-based robotics startup ANYbotics develops AI-powered autonomous robots for use in the metal, energy, power, mining and chemical industries. ANYmal, the startup’s four-legged inspection robot, can perform inspections without human intervention, with a design that can withstand both indoor and outdoor environments.
The robot can also perform automatic data collection and transfer to maintenance systems via API, providing real-time insights to businesses. With offices in Zurich and San Francisco, ANYbotics offers software and payload solutions in addition to robotic hardware.
With partners such as AWS, Siemens Energy, Nvidia, SAP and SLB, the startup plans to accelerate its global expansion strategies and progress in the US with the investment.
